Gand Juncton Mom Had Sex with Her Teen Son's Best Friend

Wendy Crowell is another mother who likes to have sex with teen boys. This , 36-year-old woman from Grand Junction, Colorado, has been accused of engaging in sex with her son’s 15-year-old friend.

Crowell is facing seven criminal charges, six of which are felonies, tied to sexual assault on a minor between 15 and 16 years old. The boy’s mother reported the discovery of unsuitable messages from Crowell on her teenage son’s phone to police last summer. She had been suspected more had exchanged between the two and confronted her teen son about the relationship. The admitted that he had been having sexual relationship with Mrs. Crowell, who was married at the time.

Crowell and the boy’s mother were friends, and the mother of the victim would leave her son in Crowell’s care when job hunting or doing errands. Sometimes Crowell would take both teens on trips together. The relationship between adult woman and teen boy became sexual on the night of a sleepover in Crowell’s home May 2012, and proceeded to June same year. According to the teen boy, they had engaged in sexual acts multiple times usually in Crowell’s bedroom but also at least twice in Wendy Crowell’s parked car over a three week period. On the first night they had sex, the boy told investigators that his friends mother seduced him while saying that he should be 18 and asked if “he could pretend to be 18 for a night,” the affidavit reveals. Her illicit actions makes Wendy Crowell another mother who has sex with teens.

While acknowledging Crowell likely took advantage given the age disparity, the teen does not feel he was forced and regards the sex was consensual, but acknowledged the fact that “Wendy” may have been taking advantage of the situation. Regardless, Colorado state law prohibits sex with a minor. The age of consent in Colorado is 17, with exceptions for minors less than 17 under certain circumstances. A person commits the crime of sexual assault if he or she is 10 years older than a minor who is 15 or 16-years-old. A person convicted of this crime is guilty of a class one misdemeanor sexual assault. Sexual assault is considered an “extraordinary risk crime,” which allows for a more severe sentence.
