Courtney Bowles was caught in car having sex with a teen boy

Courtney Renee Bowles, 31-year-old teacher at Mountain View High School, Loveland, Colorado, has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault on a child after police found her and a boy in a car at a park.

Bowles also faces charges of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to the Larimer County arrest report. Bowles was arrested at North Lake Park, where a Loveland police officer contacted the vehicle at 10:40 p.m. for being in the park after it was closed.

“The female was on top of the male and she quickly jumped off of the male when she saw my flashlight shining into the vehicle,” said Officer Sharon Hopkins, who filed the arrest report. “I told both subjects that I could see they were naked and they needed to get dressed and talk to me.”

According to the report, the boy initially told the officer he was 20-years-old. However, he eventually produced his Mountain View High School identification card which showed he was in the 10th grade, and confessed to being 16. Officer Hopkins also said she found bottles of vodka and Sprite in the vehicle.

Bowles has been released on a $50,000 personal recognizance bond. She can’t come within 100 feet of the boy’s home or school and can’t have contact with anyone younger than 18-years-old for the time being, a court ordered. She’s also barred from contacting the alleged victim and his family.

Bowles will be allowed to talk to her daughters but only by phone.

The Coloradoan reports that a judge ruled Bowles will be allowed to talk to her daughters for up to 30 minutes every other day. Her husband must listen in to the conversations. However, she won’t be allowed to see her children under the supervision of a third party until at least after Feb. 24.

Defense attorney Derek Samuelson implored the judge earlier Thursday to consider how Bowles’ daughters are suffering at the separation from their mother — a woman without any prior crimes who he said has been a loving mom.

He contended there was no risk and all gain for the young girls in seeing their mother, who is accused of providing alcohol to and having sex with a teenage boy.

However, prosecutor Renee Doak said there is no way to be sure without an evaluation that Bowles is not a risk to her children.

Cassandra Sproch tried to force herself on teen boy

Cassandra Sproch, 43-year-old mother from Sewickley, Pennsylvania, has pleaded guilty to multiple misdemeanor sex and alcohol offenses involving male teen friends of her 14-year-old son.

Sproch, a former part-time dance and theater teacher at Propel Homestead K-8 campus, was sentenced by The Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge David R. Cashman to 18 months of probation.

Sproch’s then-14-year-old son told county police detectives he was at his mother’s Beaver Road home Nov. 15, 2009, when she arrived with three students, ages 13, 15 and 16, according to a police affidavit.

Sproch eventually began making dinner, poured each child a glass of wine and “encouraged them to drink,” the affidavit stated.

The boys told police Sproch got drunk and began “acting crazy.” When the teens went into another room to play video games, she called the 15-year-old boy upstairs, touched him and offered to have sex with him, police said.

The boy refused and went back downstairs. After “continued requests” by Sproch, the 16-year-old boy went upstairs. The other two boys followed and found Sproch and the boy in her bedroom, where Sproch was kissing him and had him “pinned against the bedroom wall,” police reported.

Sproch’s son and the other boy dragged the 16-year-old from the room and the teens left the home, the affidavit stated.
