Joan Tuckruskye, performed sex acts with 13yo boy - in car

Joan Tuckruskye, 46-year-old former Long Island PTA vice president has been sentenced to six months in jail and 10 years probation for sexually abusing a 13-year-old boy, her daughter's boyfriend.

Tuckruskye and the boy were found naked from the waist down in a car behind a Baldwin middle school in 2008. Prosecutors say the mother of three had sexual contact with the boy because her saliva was found on his genitals and clothes. Tuckruskye pleaded guilty in April to charges of second-degree criminal sexual act, a felony.

Joan Tuckruskye must also register as a sex offender for the next 20 years.

Tuckruskye had originally been scheduled to be sentenced on July 1, but it was delayed after she was hospitalized for an undisclosed reason.

In December 2008 police found a parked car behind Meadow Elementary School in Baldwin that seemed - officers tapped on fogged windows and could make out two figures inside on the backseat. They noticed the individuals were not clothed from the waist down.

The officers asked for identification, and the boy said he was 18. Police were skeptical about the age of the boy, who later said he was 15. Later that evening, during an examination at Nassau University Medical Center, it was determined that the boy, whom police would not name, is 13.

Sheral Smith,

Sheral Smith, 39, was arrested in 2008 and is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy, who was a friend of her son. Prosecutors said Smith had sex with the boy at least four times. Yesterday she pleaded guilty to four counts of statutory rape.

After many delays Smith pleaded guilty after a competency hearing in Rankin County where a doctor testified she's been faking a mental illness. The judge sentenced Smith to 20 years with 13 suspended. After she serves seven years, she faces five years of supervised probation.

Smith must register as a sex offender and can have no contact with the victim or the victim's family. She still faces additional charges in Hinds County.

Smith was to stand trial on Tuesday. A competency hearing was held Monday for Smith, who was ordered last year by the court to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and has spent the past seven months at the Mississippi State Hospital at Whitfield, Guest said. While testifying during the hearing, Smith acted confused, had trouble recalling what year it was and said she couldn’t remember the victim, Guest said. A psychiatrist who had treated Smith testified that she was putting on an act and a judge ruled that Smith was competent to stand trial.

After the hearing, Smith’s attorney called the district attorney’s office and requested a plea agreement, Guest said. During the plea agreement hearing, Smith’s entire demeanor changed, Guest said. He described her as having a clear understanding of the proceedings and as being in control of herself.“You could tell she had a much different mental state than she had (Monday) morning, which indicated to the state that she was faking any kind of mental illness,” Guest said.

Matt Baldridge, an attorney with John Colette & Associates, legal counsel for Smith, said Monday the firm's client agreed pleading guilty was the best decision."Looking, at all of the evidence and at potential exposure, she decided it was in her best interest," Bald-ridge said. "We agreed with her to enter a guilty plea."

The relationship began in the summer of 2008. The victim was a student at New Summit School in northeast Jackson, where Sith worked briefly. The victim was also involved in athletic events with Sheral Smith's son, who is the same age.

Teacher Linda Trabucco got hots for male student

Linda Lewis Trabucco, 44-year-old English teacher at the Collegiate Academy in Littleton, pleaded guilty in February 2010 to sex assault of a male student, and was sentenced in April 2010 to five years to life of intensive supervised probation, with five years in prison as a condition of her probation. Trabucco was arrested in August 2009 for allegedly engaging in sex with a male student throughout his high school years.

The male student said he met Trabucco when he was in the seventh grade and their relationship began when he was a freshman and lasted throughout high school, where she was an assistant principal.

Trabucco and the teen began to meet on weekends at a bookstore where Trabucco would tutor the teen to help prepare him for his college entrance exams. After these weekend sessions they would walk around a nearby lake and kiss and hug which would often lead to sex.

Trabucco is a divorced mother who started working at the school in 2000. She was married and living with her husband and children during some of the relationship but got divorced at one point and moved to a home in Highlands Ranch.

The teenager told investigators that he and Trabucco engaged in sexual activity numerous times at his parent's house, while the teacher was married. After her divorce Trabucco bought a house in Highlands Ranch where she and the teenager continued to engage in sexual activity.

During the investigation deputies were also looking into allegations a second teenage boy may have had a relationship with Trabucco during the same time frame but they don't believe she's been involved with any recent students at the school.
